My process is designed to be both simple and interactive.

Working with hardcopy drawings, CAD files, rough sketches, computer generated wire frames and images, a digital model is developed. This model is used to explore potential viewpoints, compositions and lighting conditions.

Alternative views are tested on the model with an emphasis on providing the best illustration of the architecture, details and the clients overall vision. The view that is most representative of the project is selected and used to generate a line layout.

The line layout is provided to the client for comment, clarification, modification and approval. Upon approval, a series of studies are created to evaluate different color schemes as well as placement of plantings and other entourage. Using these studies as a basis, and in consultation with the client, we create a final study which best represents the important elements of the project and design.

A Final Study produced and forwarded to the client for evaluation and comment. Upon approval of the final study, work begins on the final illustration which is created using all of the inputs from the process; models, layouts studies and, most importantly, client input.

The original image is scanned at 300 dpi and saved as a TIFF format digital file for the highest possible reproduction quality

Finally, the image is delivered to the client by one of two methods: Electronically via ftp download from our webserver or on CD via overnight mail.
